About

Dr. Tamara

Compassionate Care

Compassionate care is at the heart of everything I do. I believe that everyone deserves a safe space to be seen, heard, and supported. It takes immense courage to seek help, and I honor that courage in every interaction. My approach is founded on respecting and honoring your unique journey and what has led you to this point. Whether through somatic practices, trauma-informed yoga, or nervous system education, I’m here to offer a nurturing and nonjudgmental environment to help you find the support you need.

A Journey of Discovery and Healing

For over 30 years, I’ve worked with individuals who have experienced trauma, which has deepened my respect for the resilience of the human spirit. This journey sparked my passion for exploring the mind-body connection and the physiological parallels of emotional themes. My offerings are informed by the belief that our nervous system, our body’s responses, and our life experiences all interweave in ways that often go unnoticed, but offer powerful insight into where healing is needed. My approach integrates the latest neuroscience and cutting-edge techniques like Quantum Neuro Reset Therapy (QNRT) to guide you on your path to recovery.

Holistic Transformation: Mind, Body & Spirit

I believe that true transformation occurs when we honor the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. In my work, I use a holistic framework that stays grounded in the latest research while honoring timeless practices. Whether you’re experiencing stress, emotional challenges, or trauma, I see your symptoms as important clues guiding us toward understanding and healing. I work with you to uncover the root causes of your struggles and co-create a path to wellness that addresses all aspects of your being. By integrating nervous system-informed yoga with deep somatic practices, we can unlock your body’s natural capacity to heal and thrive.

Overcoming Limiting Patterns

Our inner wisdom is always present, though sometimes it gets blocked by the very patterns that once helped us survive. Through our work together, I will help you identify any self-limiting patterns and, more importantly, understand why they exist. I believe that by honoring the wisdom behind these patterns, we create the space for gentle shifts and lasting change. This work is rooted in the belief that each of us has a divine purpose, and when we step into that purpose, we open the door to living a life full of joy, love, and impact.

A Partnership for Your Wellness

My approach is a partnership—an ongoing journey of mutual discovery and support. I’m here to guide you with compassionate presence, a deep respect for your story, and an unwavering belief in your ability to heal. Together, we will build the resilience and resources you need to clear the path to your highest potential. You are deserving of this journey toward greater peace, balance, and joy—and I would be honored to walk with you every step of the way

The irony is that we attempt to disown our difficult stories to appear more whole, but our wholeness, even our wholeheartedness, actually depends on the integration of all of our experiences.

I believe that the person is just as important as the degrees and education, and I am deeply committed to my own ongoing personal development. I have been where you are—seeking support when I felt overwhelmed or couldn’t see beyond the cloud of my habitual patterns. It’s through doing our own work and being 'in the arena' that we cultivate a deeper compassion for the courage it takes to undertake transformative personal growth.

I have been blessed to be guided by many compassionate and wise souls on my own journey, and they continue to walk with me. However, I’ve also encountered practices that, while well-meaning, may not be helpful—and sometimes even harmful. Above all, I believe in doing no harm. If I ever feel that I am not the best fit for you as a practitioner, I will let you know and assist you in finding someone who is.

This work is a gift, and I am truly honored that you are considering inviting me to walk alongside you on your healing journey.
